For Valentine’s Day, April and I made mini-zines for each other; I started a new series and she illustrated her song, Love Boat.
In one of the Deeper Forest’s trees, the Overseer and Sol were chased through a snowed-in city by a Shadow while its Giant fled from the team, due to their partnership violating the trial’s solo nature.
This action-packed short-story was inspired by the sci-fi and anime that we watch and read together.

Escape Perennial City is a metaphysical science fiction novel about a self-sufficient city in a frozen Wasteland, or so its citizens were led to believe.
Charley Finch’s first story arc details his struggles convincing his peers otherwise, leading to his escape from the walls boxing the city in.
For fans who are inspired by superhero comics, manga, anime and movies, Escape Perennial City embodies larger-than-life ideas like the concepts of liberation, mental hindrances and the cycles of life and rebirth.

This document is a transcript of a recorded remote viewing.
A teleporting man had tried to escape the city, into the Wasteland, but he was prevented by the walls.
The government and its telekinetic citizens refused to believe, confirm or deny his discovery. The party responsible expend themselves against Charley Finch to silence him, forcing him to evade the police Chief and their department throughout the city. Citywide property damage and injury led Charley to decide to appeal with the Mayor at City Hall.
There, he learns how to overcome these hindrances and strives to escape Perennial City.

“ULTRAVIOLET”, the first chapter released in the “FLUKE!” series of metaphysical science fiction short stories, has been collected with “Hector Blake”, “Ado the Owl” and “Summond the Scarecrow” as a paperback--”Hector Blake” was unable to be released in a physical format by itself outside of Amazon, so I decided to link this series’ releases together.
ULTRAVIOLET is the first in a series of metaphysical science fiction short stories about a superpowered cast living at the end of the 30th century. This story follows Elsa Todd, the Imprint, who can visualize ideas and deconstruct their holographic forms. Using her abilities to outline objects, Imprint contacts the cosmic Source, the first person narrator of the book’s third person narrative.
Inspired by literature as a medium for the ideas you will read about in ULTRAVIOLET, Imprint’s abilities were based on how we interact with ideas when we consume, read, write and create.
Also includes “Summond the Scarecrow” and “Ado the Owl” from “The Wisps Book”, and another chapter in the “FLUKE!” series, “Hector Blake”!

The Imprint tuned to the light of a clear blue sky. Speaking through the ultraviolet end of the visible spectrum, Imprint told the Source she had hit a roadblock in her project, that the microcosm’s dimension of time was frozen past a specific point.
The Source revealed that her problem was a non-issue, transcending Imprint’s macrocosm, which was a microcosm to the godform.
But Imprint realized that meant the Ultraviolet had claimed her abilities and endeavours as its own.
Desperate to reclaim her work, Imprint attempted to capture and transcend the godform, but only revealed the underlying structure of every cosmos in her effort.

Hector Blake longed for the excitement of his old life.
He had awoken in a dark room, the walls of which being impervious to his intense pyrokinesis, to fend off an endless one-on-one assault of enemies. He was, a day prior, living in peaceful retirement back home on Titan, once being a renowned superhero across the Sol system.
Now, adversaries flood the room he had found himself in, and his tools and abilities are all that he can use to stave off exhaustion while fighting personifications of his slothful thoughts. Hector’s applied displays incinerated such hindrances while reinvigorating him--but can he keep the fire alive, let alone bright enough to face a stronger burning willpower?

BATTLE Colosseum is the latest chapter in the "FLUKE!" series, which is being formed around chapters that can be read as independent standalone short stories - the original plan when I first started was to create a secret interconnected world between my releases, but the more time I spend in this world and the more fleshed out its history becomes, the more I want to just reveal the entire project list, but I appreciate the slow roll out and this unification of narrative I have found myself undertaking.

Editing this book has given me a chance for a retrospective reflection of my writing. I knew then that I was experimenting with publishing for the first time--and I realize that I will be for the rest of my life, I am sure...
Since this is some of my earliest “professional” writing, I went into editing this expecting to cringe--and I got some, but I also left feeling impressed. I feel inspired after reading what my younger self was producing. I was studying a lot of interesting topics for the first time during this era and was obsessed with retaining the wisdom, by applying the insight.

This Second Edition has been re-edited and re-formatted myself, and features an all-new cover by my wife April Salisbury-White. These tales of epic poetry and flash fiction now fit in perfectly with the rest of Project Trinity’s stories featuring the Overseer, Richard Abendsen and all the other telekinetic heroes from the far-future Sol and Zeus Systems.
HaikuPrajna’s poetry focuses on themes like stress, serenity, concentration and meditation, where Elephant in the Room at first details lessons gained while studying philosophies such as Buddhism, Hermeticism and Neoplatonism, before diverting into fictional adventures centered on these ideas.
The round of “./sumatranus” poetry, the section “On Dependent Origination” before it, and all the following fiction can be considered a prequel to the other stories seen in books like “Fishing for Caribou”, “The Wisps Book” and “FLUKE!”. These books have risen from the ashes of a lost project like a literal phoenix, where the cumulative effect was the Sumatranus story and continuing writing when all had been lost to the digital ether; I could have quit then, but here we are with all the stories that we have today.

Our protagonist controls Nina, a playable character in this fictional augmented virtual reality video game. While playing BATT-LE Colosseum, Nina prefers to operate solo--because she was using a modified game client to play outside of the MEGA Corporation's GamePlex--and she struggles with being reliant on other players, like Ian the Turtle.
This metaphysical science fiction story took inspiration from a wide variety of pop culture, from video games (like Smash Bros, Halo, Team Fortress 2, Fortnite and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon) to books (including stories by Philip K. Dick and Douglas Adams) and back to anime (such as Neon Genesis Evangelion and Gurren Lagann). I even took the names of the characters from the pets in our family, and I stuck in some references to Electric Armchair’s music.
BATTLE Colosseum resonates with those who struggle with relying on others, as Nina grapples with the choice of reducing what she is reliant on versus being comfortable in any situation, including being dependent on her teammate. During BATTLE Colosseum, Nina realizes that replanning was where the fun was found and, because she has faith in her abilities, that she could have faith in her team, too.
